Great coolbox and runs perfectly off the powe bank which lasted around 9hrs. Great simple display functionality as well
Eventually arrived delivery was slow but got here undamaged but the battery is not available untill end Sept which was explained not used yet but looks good also brought a thermal cover for it
I drive a truck for living and have tried many other options, dorm fridges , plug in coolers, even built in truck refrigerators, but this is the best I have used by far. It’s a low energy user and high quality fridge. When I fill it with food for the week I never have to worry about it running my battery down or not keeping my food at the exact temperature I set it on. It’s easy to move and is extremely compact and yet provides plenty of room for all of my meals and drinks for the week. The trucking industry needs this product to be front and center for the drivers that need a high quality fridge to keep there food cool , especially for those with limited space. I have had this product for about 4 months now, it’s worth every penny
I have this refrigerator strapped down in the back of my Wrangler, and after many off-roading trips throughout the hot southwest desert, I have to say I'm impressed with it so far. In 98 degree temperatures (Outside with tailgate opened) it was able to maintain a 13.1 interior temperature with no problem. It has held up well on very rough roads and would recommend it if you are looking for a quality refrigerator. NEEDS fresh air to maintain temperature, so leave the windows down a bit so it can breathe.
For the price, you can’t beat it. I’m running this off of an EcoFlow battery pack and the fridge is incredibly efficient. Time will tell if it remains reliable but after a few trips, this has earned its 5 stars.
We decided to buy this product because we usually go to Austria to shop for food and for travel. In hot weather, we needed something to keep food fresh. We had the simple box with peltier for many years, it was good but not enough. The next reason for this refrigerator was external battery, because our car powers off the 12V plug after stop.After two months using this product, we have a lot of experiences. We contacted the customer support too and it was very helpful! Thank you very much.Pros:1. The size is good for Mazda 3 (2019). 2. Fast cold after the start. 3. Enough space inside.4. Temperature can be set.5. Auto off, when low battery and auto on when battery is charged.6. Low power (5 - 8 hours on external battery with set 10 °C).7. The 12V cable is 90° angle.8. Can be connected to 230V, 12V car or external battery 12V.9. Can be split to two parts or use only one part. Cons:1. In the description is, that 1.5L and 2L Coca-Cola fits into. Yes, 1.5L Coca-Cola is ok, but 1.5L water (only some) doesn't fit when staying. The Coca-Cola 2L doesn't fit for stay too. 2. It is interference with some radio stations in the car (we have an antenna on the back window - too close to the refrigerator) - Customer support helps to use demagnetizer to wire - it little helps.3. One time, we had a problem with the external battery overheating. It automatically powers off. - the space for the battery is not good, we are putting it in another space in the car for better cooling. Then, we didn't have any more problems with overheating. We are planning to make an automatic switch between a 12V car and external battery with relays (thanks to customer support for help to get any more cables). 4. The set temperature is not the same as the temperature inside (-+ 5°C) - it is not a very big problem. Conclusion:Very good product for good price. We are using it every two weeks for travel and shopping. We brought the ice creams 150 km (two hours) with other food and it was good and not melted. Very good customer support - thank you for everything. I hope that it will be working for many years.
I write this review with a sound and perfect experience! I am an advid camper. I put this unit thru many conditions, hot & cold, weather and the unit performed outstanding. Do not sleep on this product. I bought this with 4 other competitors, suggested by BougeRV, and this by far out-performed. I purchased the carrying bag and a battery alike. I use this product in my RV for extra food storage on extended trips. Most importantly, The customer service is by far the best! I contacted them on several occasions about the product via phone & email and have had positive response. They are helpful and will FIX any problems you have with the product. Unfortunately, I had a bad battery, purchased separately, that would not hold charge. Reached out to customer service and the responded and replaced defective battery immediately. They stand behind their product which makes the product. Buy BougeRv product. You can't go wrong!
The fridge is running like a gem..being plugged into 110 was cold very quickly on max..now have it plugged into the power station on eco to see how long it will run..Love the light inside the unit…Also purchased the insulated cover…
great fridge - with an ice pack it lasted three days and still didn't deplete the battery (had 20% left still). Didn't notice any sound despite the warning of 45dB. I really didn't hear it at all and had to put my hand inside to check it was still working. Really like it.
Great fridge, but I don't know what to do with the battery, and there are no instructions. What is the battery for? How do I put the battery in, given that it rattles around in that compartment - is it even the right place? How would I connect fridge and battery to a solar panel, and to what size of panel? The battery is an expensive extra cost, please help me to make it worthwhile.
great portable fridge/freezer. Only used as a fridge so far for tent camping and it keeps food and drink cold. Mainly used powered by electric hookup but also tried the battery option and that seems to work well, and depending on ambient temperatures and fridge setting, looks to keep everything cold for 24+ hours. Plenty of cables are included so can keep the fridge running via BougeRV battery (226Wh), car 12v socket, or mains.
Item as described, works well, the only thing that should be improved is the handle outside area where the plastic should be thicker or better insulated, it condenses when you have the freezer below 0!
Very useful for a day out or as extra - and more reliable - storage in very hot weather when van fridges struggle. Cools and freezes down very quickly and two compartments are useful, although you can't use one as fridge and one for freezer, both have to be the same temp.
After a quick and painless delivery, I tried the unit out at home, it feels sturdy and well made, it's easy to use, cools really quilky and is quite in operation. The fridge is light enough for one person to carry. Altogether very pleased.
Battery was amazing. Unfortunately the fridge didn't work but after contacting bougerv they sent a replacement and it works fine. Very impressed with the fridge and the length of time the battery works when connected to it.
A very good Fridge freezer performed seamlessly during a 10 day trip. The only downside is the bottle opener is absolutely useless. opening a bottle will result in liquid being spilt over the unit and the floor an absolute waste of time.
I love the fridge and will make good use of it. I would like to get a cover and a battery , but being a pensioner, I’ll have to wait. I’ve put it on and gets cold very quickly. Would recommend BourgRV to everyone
I charged the battery and turned the fridge on in my living room with some bottled water placed inside to see how long the battery would last. I set the temperature to zero degrees just for a test and it lasted 30 hours, I was impressed with that,I can raise the temperate as it’s not needed as a freezer so it should last even longer. Very pleased with my purchase, the battery was delivered separately to the fridge and came a few days later.
Very impressed with this Fridge freezer,perfect size for a long weekend away, uses Very little power and is very well insulated so rarely needs any attention, the best we have ever used.
Love the coolbox, though the battery opton and carry bag options should be cheaper. also as it does not have a carry handle on the top it shold really have a strap of some kind as the side handles are a little snall and shallow
not the cheapest investment compared to more popular cooler boxes (understandably due to cost), yet this is a full-fledged fridge/freezer.

Bought this fridge and battery pack to replace our old camping 12v chiller box. While more expensive, this is a massive improvement. I keep it in the car now as the chiller for the weekly food shop since it chills down to 4°C in about 30 minutes in a hot car.
In the UK on a hot day (25°C and 30°C in the car) the battery will last well over the advertised 6hrs as after 4 hours I had 70% capacity left. Obviously best to chill the fridge and contents before switching to battery. Also looking forward to using the battery pack for tech charging.
One criticism is the metal chain snapped when I opened the fridge with too much force. My fault but a stronger strap would be better albeit probably a bacteria breeding ground compared to the thin stainless chain. I'm sure I can get a spare from a local hardware chain.
